Have you ever asked your self if there’s more kinetic energy or gravitational potential energy? Well maybe you have or maybe you don’t even know what these two words mean. Kinetic energy is energy in motion or an object in motion. One example of kinetic energy is a basket ball being dribbled . Another example is a car going at 49 miles per hour on the high way. One more example is a 10 pound block dropped from a five story building. Gravitational Potential energy (GPE) is an object that is being lifted or is off the ground. A simple example is an apple in a tree . Second would be a rollercoaster going up a hill. Third a kid on top of a water slide. In my opinion there is nether more kinetic energy or GPE. I think this because almost every thing that has GPE will sooner or later have kinetic energy. For example an apple on a tree has GPE because it is off the ground as it falls the apple starts to get kinetic energy because the apple is in motion . When a roller coster gose up a hill it is ganing more GPE it`s energy as it goes down is converting in to Kinetic energy. You might have your own opinion on the question is there more kinetic energy in the world or GPE. But every opinion counts.
